A  winning postcode in S65 3BT, Rotherham, has delivered more than celebration for local residents, it has created lasting impact across the town.

Following the recent People’s Postcode Lottery win, the Titans Community Foundation has been awarded funding through the lottery’s community fund after being selected as a local charity making a significant difference in the area.

The funding was made possible thanks to the players of the People’s Postcode Lottery  and the Foundation has been clear in its gratitude.

Quite simply, if it wasn’t for the players choosing to take part, this opportunity would not exist.

Money raised by players is distributed to charities across the country, and because the winning postcode was based in Rotherham, organisations within the area were considered for support. Titans Community Foundation was chosen in recognition of its growing impact across youth provision, education, inclusion, and community development.

Strengthening Support for Young People

The Foundation delivers a wide range of programmes aimed at improving lives through sport, education, and positive role models.

From providing specialist sports wheelchairs to ensure inclusive participation, to securing Youth Investment Fund backing that helped build The Hub , a dedicated youth and community space , the organisation has steadily developed into a key pillar of local support.

The Hub now acts as a safe environment where young people can access mentoring, structured sessions, physical activity, and personal development opportunities.

Expanding as an Official Alternative Provision

The latest funding will now allow the Foundation to expand its reach even further.

Recently recognised as an official Alternative Provision in Rotherham, Titans Community Foundation supports young people who benefit from structured intervention outside of mainstream education settings. This donation will enhance facilities, upgrade resources, and increase delivery capacity as the charity continues to grow its role as a youth centre and education partner within the town.

The investment means:

- Improved equipment and upgraded provision

- Increased access for young people

- Enhanced support programmes

- Greater long-term sustainability

Adding Impact Across Rotherham

Every session delivered by the Foundation is built around one goal: creating safer, healthier, and more positive futures for young people in Rotherham.
This funding represents more than a financial boost — it represents belief. Belief in local charities. Belief in grassroots impact. Belief in community. And none of it would be possible without the players of the People’s Postcode Lottery. On behalf of the young people, families, and wider community who benefit from this work every week, we extend our sincere thanks.Because when local people play, local communities win.
